This week has a deep sense of melancholy. I feel a bit down.

Brand revelations, the loss of an old friend and foundational things in my life that don’t fit like they used to.

This morning, I woke to a WhatsApp message that a dear friend, Phyl had passed. She was in her 90s, and her life quality had deteriorated over the last year. There is sadness but relief for the family as caring for her became more challenging as she became double-blind and doubly incontinent. My thoughts are with her daughters and grandsons.
