The world is a kinder, gentler place when women have their health.
The world desires our wisdom deeply. And sometimes, our health skips a beat at the menopause transition. For many of us, this means our brains get foggy, lacklustre, and slow. I’ve been talking to many women over the last few weeks who feel not like themselves and have been pushed around the healthcare system with perimenopause being whispered here and there but no concrete action
It doesn't need to be this way.
We can learn to neuro-regulate ourselves to stay well and meet and manage the brain fog moments until the brain does its wonderful upgrade some years post-menopause.
In that interim space, it is imperative that we embrace self-awareness and self-care in order to be the healthiest version we can be in menopause. Listening to our needs.
Women heal together. It happens faster, and gentler in this way. We heal in groups. We see each other, we hold each other, and we witness all, together.
Please reach out to a fellow woman on her menopause journey today.
Because we matter. We all matter. And walking each other home is how we make it through.
To support you I am holding a free masterclass on May 17th at 11 am EST to share with you more about how mindset, creating bandwidth and dialling back the stress along with prioritising sustainable self-care can be your path to a calmer more positive menopause. A space where you are in the driver’s seat more than not!

My good friend and wonderful meno-warrior Kate Codrington posted a wonder live on her Insta all about ‘othering’ this insane need to be in camps about menopause. And it gets nasty very quickly, women calling each other c***nts on social because not everyone wants or thinks HRT is the panacea for everything menopausal. This vileness has had me turning off my Insta and Twitter for a few weeks to preserve my sanity. Now it turns out this is how our brains are built🤯 !!!
Professor Selena Bartlett joined forces with my ex-colleague Dr Mark Williams (oops🤭 it wasn’t till he mentioned the Unilever liking project that remembered him even if I did recall all the data) to talk on the Thriving Minds podcast about why we take sides. If you are on LinkedIn check out the May Mental Health 30 days posts from Selena simply inspiring!
Do stay tuned for this week’s podcast as I interview the adorable Dr Keira Barr, a leading dermatologist as we go ‘skinny dipping’ on skincare in menopause. Get ready for something completely different to the usual long list of potions and lotions that you need a second mortgage for! The episode drops on Tuesday
I see you. I care deeply for you. Share this love today with another woman!
